Training in automation | (800) 360.6802

Today, automation is slowly gaining control in our industries. The human manual work is getting reduced as control systems and information technologies are making use of automation. It is actually a step beyond mechanization as there are still human operators working and applying their muscles for working. GE Fanuc PLC supplier is a leading name sin supplying PLC’s for automation. Today GE Fanuc PLC are being used extensively in manufacturing industries and other industries, replacing all manual systems. Today industries seem to prefer a workforce trained in PLC automation training. GE Fanuc is doing a wonderful job in spreading the use of automation in different industries.

Automation has many other advantages besides increasing efficiency and reducing time. There are lots of monotonous works in industries involving physical strain and some of these can be dangerous. So it helps in replacing dangerous human tasks and minimizing any error.  Boosting the economy of society and industries, one of the most common and popular automation tools is PLC and the other is SCADA. GE Fanuc is well known for supplying PLC”s and meets the automation demands with aplomb.

PLC means programmable logic controllers and are actually small computers that work with has dedicated operating system. These automation tools are technologically advanced and designed to offer a precise substitute for big control panels. Pioneered during the70’s, these programmable logic controllers were moved to a higher degree of efficiency and expertise. GE Fanuc PLC suppliers are leaders in offering more versatile automation tools than before. Some examples of popular GE Fanuc Series are 90-30 PLCs and IO systems that are specially designed to offer versatile industrial solutions to the industries. GE Fanuc not only has the necessary automation tools but also an efficient transport network system o supply these parts to any place in the world.

GE Fanuc Automation- Proficy MTE

GE Fanuc launched New Machine Tool Efficiency Shop Floor Intelligence Software to boost equipment efficiency, optimize performance and reduce machine downtime. The GE Fanuc PLC software solution is able to collect real-time quality and performance data from production systems and machine tools to help companies comprehend the dynamics of their shop floor and get to the root causes behind losses in, setup, minor stoppages, speed and incomplete yield. Proficy MTE is a flexible, web-enabled complete solution that is built on GE Fanuc’s Proficy Intelligent Production Solutions software for automation. This new solution from GE Fanuc PLC supplier helps users to boost their OEE or Overall Equipment Effectiveness by improving access to and analyzing shop floor information for operations so as to improve process quality.

Now available, this new Windows-based software offers connectivity and data collection, along with extensive support for a broad range of machining processes and CNCs. The application present tabular and graphical reporting related to efficiency, production, maintenance management and part program management. Proficy MTE also offers tools to diagnose problems remotely with machine ladder and alarm. It also operates history displays with added remote functionality for backup and restore.

CNCs and lasers vice president, Douglas Peterson says that it is essential to collect data on existing processes so as to initiate continuous improvement programs. According to him Proficy MTE, machine tools users can apply a strategy to watch and understand the root causes on the production floor in order to achieve process improvement.

Four HUBO Robots Come Together for Beatles Cover

This arrangement of The Beatles Come Together for a drum kit and three hubophones (yes, hubophones) might be one of the most, er, expensive displays of robotic music on record. […]

Considering that each HUBO, an advanced humanoid developed at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), will run you between $300,000 and $400,000, you’re looking at a $1.5 million-ish production here, which I’m sure well reflects the amount of work that Drexel University’s HUBO music programming team Alyssa Batula, David Grunberg, and Matthew Prockup put into these robots.
